The GI Consultant was started because a compliance director wanted one consultancy to work with a business that, in common with many others, dealt with financial services, mortgages and general insurance.
Busy advisers, brokers and administrators need practical help not a heap of extra work from compliance consultants, so that is what you get here: hands-on, practical, work with you kind of assistance and as much or as little as you need.
The GI Consultant was founded by someone who has ‘walked the walk’ in the worlds of life and pensions and insurance. The mission of this business is to help firms and self-employed individuals to do more of what they do best and to make compliance work for them, rather than becoming an extra burden.
Karen Malin, whose vision this consultancy is all about, has been in the industry since 1980, formerly a Registered Insurance Broker, currently an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Insurance Practitioner with additional qualification in customer care and finanical services compliance experience.
Distance is no object; this business is set up to work remotely too.
Compliance is all about preventing things from going wrong. If everyone complied with the spirit of the regulations, customers would happily be getting great service and exactly what they paid for!
